　　Recently, a Chinese student who studied abroad delivered a speech at the graduate ceremony. Her speech soon became the hot issue, because she criticized Chinese air pollution, which was a great threat to her health. Though her speech had exaggerated the problem, it is true that China has faced many pollution problems. The haze in Beijing is famous around the world, which is the punishment for human to ruin the environment. It needs time to fix the problem, but there is no need to deny our country. Even for the developed countries, they have once faced such problem before. We can do something in the daily life to protect it, such as do not throw away the rubbish.

　　最近，一位中国留学生在毕业典礼上发表了演讲。她的演讲很快就成为了热点话题，因为她批判中国的空气污染严重，给她的健康带来了很大的威胁。虽然她的演讲夸大了这个问题，但是，中国确实面临着许多污染问题。

　　北京的雾霾在世界是出了名的，这是对人类破坏环境的惩罚。解决这个问题是需要时间的，并没有必要因此而否定我们的国家。即使是发达国家，它们也曾经遇到过这样的问题。我们可以从日常生活中做些事情来保护它，比如不乱扔垃圾。

　　Pollution As the world is getting more densely populated, pollution presents a severe problem. More people make more waste. All this waste is polluting our surroundings. Pollution has a bad influence on our life. The air is pollnted by the smoke and fog coming out of the factory chimneys. Plants die for want of fresh air. The river is polluted and the fish are unfit to live. There is noise pollution made by cars and factories, etc, which hurts the ear. It is high time we did something about pollution. I suggest more trees be planted to keep the air fresh.

　　We should purify the water and make use of the wastes and turn harm into good. By cur common efforts, we will make a clean and purified environment for life and work.

　　污染严重地影响我们的生活。工厂的烟囱里冒出的烟雾污染空气。植物由于缺少新鲜空气而枯死。河流污染，鱼不能生存。汽车、工厂发出噪音对人耳有害。 是对污染采取措施的时候了。我建议多植树以保持空气新鲜。我们应该使水净化，利用废物，转害为利。

　　通过共同努力，我们将创造一个清洁、美丽的生活、工作环境。

　　The drawing portrays a tragic scene in which people are still polluting and leaving about the rubbish. Lots people show bad manners , entirely indifferent to the environment of the world we are living in.

　　The aim of the painter is assailing the serious environmental problem——pollution, for which several factors are responsible. Population as by far increased, our country is marked by the surpassing growth of economy; living standards are high up. But the environment leaves much to be regretted.

　　How miserable it is to live in such an environment! Who is to blame for the tragic? Everybody should be responsible. we must prevent garbage from being thrown away into rivers, ponds, and lakes. With the water pollution going on someday we shall die with no water to drink at all. The scenery spots waiting to be re-beautified. Wild realization of what is our environment responsibility should be awakend. The must be exercises of our authority over the tourists to punish them sternly when they are found defiling our nature. Only in this way may can we cure the problems drastically, and regain perfect environment to live in.

　　生活在这样的环境中是多么的可悲!谁是谁的悲剧?每个人都应该负责。我们必须防止垃圾被扔进河里，池塘，湖泊。有一天我们会死，没有水喝的水污染。景点等待重新美化。我们的环境责任是什么野生的实现应该唤醒。必须锻炼我们的权力者的严厉惩罚他们，当他们发现玷污我们的本性。只有这样，我们才能彻底治愈这些问题，重新获得理想的生存环境。
