　　撒谎Telling Lies

　　People say life is full of lies. Some people tell lies to make themselves feel better, while some do this to cover their criminal acts. We have been educated to be an honest person and telling lies is not acceptable. When we experience different stages of life, we will find lies sometimes are acceptable.

　　人们说生活是充满了谎言。有些人撒谎是为了使自己感觉更好，然而有些人说谎是为了掩饰他们的犯罪行为。我们被教育要做一个诚实的人，撒谎是不可行的。当我们经历了不同的人生阶段后，会发现谎言有时是可以接受的。

　　On the one hand, whether a lie is considered to be forgiven lies in the purpose. People tell lies for making others feel better and won’t bring the negative effect, then we call it the white lie. For example, a little boy’s father died of car accident and people told the boy that his father has gone to a far place and would not come back in the short time, which could reduce the innocent boy’s pain and made him grow up happily.

　　一方面，谎言是否值得原谅在于其目的。为了使别人感觉更好，不会带来负面影响的谎言我们称之为善意的谎言。例如，一个小男孩的父亲死于车祸，人们告诉这个男孩，他的父亲去了一个很远的地方，短时间内不会回来，这就可以减少天真小男孩的痛苦，让他快乐地成长。

　　On the other hand, when people make the mistakes, they told lies for avoiding the responsibility, which is the bad behavior. We need to face our mistakes and make them right. The courage to face our problem makes us to be a mature person.

　　另一方面，当人们犯错误时，为避免责任而说谎是不对的行为。我们需要面对自己的错误，知错就改。有勇气去面对我们的问题，才能让我们成为一个成熟的人。

　　Telling lies is not acceptable in most situations, except white lies.

　　父母的爱Love From Parents

　　There is no doubt that parents love us the most in the world, they give us lives and nurse us to be an independent people. No matter what difficulties we face, they are always behind us and offer support. The way they love us is different and we can feel love is around.

　　My mother is a housewife. She sacrifice so much when I was born. Nowadays, women are advocated to be a career woman, and they treated to be successful if they can manage the family chores well at the same time. My mother gave up her career. In my eye, she does the most great job in the world. The house she cleans and the food she cooks, all of these work require so much patience and only the one with strong will can do it.

　　我妈妈是一个家庭主妇。在我出生时，她牺牲了很多。如今，大家都提倡职业女性，而且她们要是可以同时处理家庭家务就会被认为是成功的。我妈妈放弃了她的事业，在我眼里，她做着最伟大的工作。房子是她清扫，饭菜也是她做，所有这些工作都需要很多耐心，只有有坚强的意志才可以做到。

　　My father doesn’t talk much, but he will never miss every important moment of me. Every night before I sleep, he will check my homework and ask me the latest situation. The comfortable thing is that he never puts me hard and I am so pleased to talk with him.

　　我爸爸话不多，但他永远都不会错过我的每一个重要时刻。每天晚上在我睡觉之前，他都会检查我的作业，了解我近况。让我觉得很舒服的是他从来都不给我施加压力，跟他说话我觉得很开心。

　　Love from parents makes me stronger and I will fight for my future.

　　我的家乡My Hometown

　　Hometown is the place where a person belongs. Chinese people have special feelings about their hometown. No matter where they go, they won’t abandon it and always make some time to visit. My hometown brings me so many happy memories and I wish it could keep its original face forever.

　　家乡是一个人的归属。中国人对家乡有着特殊的情感，无论他们去哪里，都不会摒弃自己的家乡，总会腾出一些时间回家乡看看。我的家乡给我带来了很多快乐的回忆，我希望它能永远保持原样。

　　Two years ago, I lived in my hometown. It is a small village, so people there get familiar with each other. When we walked on the country road, everyone smiled when we saw each other. There was no distance for us. In the daytime, I liked to go boating in the small river with my friends, or sometimes I could catch fish. The green trees around me and I could hear the birds singing all the time. It was a paradise for me.

　　两年前，我住在家乡。那是一个小村庄，所以人们都相互认识。当我们走在乡间小路见面时，每个人都是面带微笑。彼此之间没有距离。白天，我喜欢和我的朋友们在小河流中划船，有时还可以抓鱼。周围是绿树环绕，能听到鸟儿唱歌。这是我的天堂。

　　However, even the small paradise can’t avoid being polluted seriously. The environment is no more clean, the river becomes smaller and the water is so dirty. When I see this, I feel so pity. If we lose the clean land, how can we survive for long. Protecting the environment is in need.
