　　（一）暑假英语日记

　　the longing summer vacation is approaching, it is the best part of the school year for me. i cannot let the holidays elapse (逝去) meaninglessly, my vacation should be a phase (时期、阶段) of harvest. the events in my plan should give me a sense of infinite potential.

　　the following plan may reveal the intensity of my desire to travel, work and study in this vacation. in the first few days i want to climb mount hua shan with several friends to refresh ourselves. then i tend to visit relatives, senior school teachers and former classmates(老同学). besides, to find out the best ways to cultivate my abilities, i will find a part time job and conduct some social investigation.

　　in short, i want to do interesting things in the summer vacation. whatever i do, the goal is the same: to get necessary experience, acquire knowledge and broaden my horizons. though the six week vacation will pass away at lightning speed, its influence is bound to last long.

　　（二）暑假英语日记

　　This afternoon, we play a game called ‘Family Tree’. This game is very interesting. I’m very interested in it. Our teacher’s family is very large. She has many brothers and sisters. But I am unlucky, I has only a sister and I without brothers. But I think I have the best parents in the world. They are very friendly to me. I live in a good family. My grand parents loves me, too. When they buy meat, they will give the best parts of the meat to me.

　　When I was a child, I can’t undertand them. I want to have bread. My grand father took a bike to Qu Tang. Because in our village there is no ‘bread house’. Qu Tang is far from our village. Now I grow up. I understand them when I think of this things. I will cry I can’t use words to say I love them.

　　The summer holiday is coming. I’m going to have a good rest and learn to relax myself. I will read more useful books because reading more books is not only interesting but also helps me learn more knowledge. I will try to spend more time in chatting with my parents and help them to do some housework. I am going to take part in the social activities so that I can know more about the society. If possible, I’d like to make a trip to Xiamen. I’m sure I’ll have an interesting and meaningful summer holiday. I am looking forward to it.
